Abstract submission > Abstracts: instructions

1. Create a sciencesconf account on the conference website, then log in.

2. Prepare the abstract (1-page, A4 format) using the template provided here

3. On the page http://jfsm2016.sciencesconf.org/submission/submit:

   - 1st tab: Enter the title, type of submission (oral of 20 min, or poster), and one or several thematics. In addition, if the presenting author is a student or post-doc, use the "ctrl" button to add this notificaiton among the thematics. A poster prize of 1500 EUR will be sponsored by the IdEx Bordeaux.

   - 2nd tab: Enther the metadata for ALL authors appearing on the abstract. This will allow complete indexing of the book of abstracts.

   - 3rd tab: upload your abstract under the "Abstract" tab (do not upload files as supplementary data).

   - 4th tab: review info and submit.

 

List of thematics: Fundamentals and MS instrumentation (incl. ionization, fragmentation, ion mobility, ion spectroscopy,…) - Sample preparation, chromatography and quantification - Peptides, peptidomics and bottom-up proteomics - Carbohydrates, lipids and metabolites - Intact molecules and non-covalent complexes (incl. proteins) - Health and medicine, from basic research to clinical applications - Environement, geochemistry and astrochemistry - MS in industry - MS imaging - Characterization of natural and synthetic molecules (incl. polymers) - Emerging or non-mainstream topics.

 

After submission, you can still edit your abstract (menu on the left, My Space --> submissions).

 

PRACTICAL ASPECTS:

Oral presentations: PowerPoint, format 16:9.

Poster presentations; format A0 vertical, push pins will be provided.
